The World of our times is undergoing transformative changes, which are going to alter not only the socio-economic contours of human society but the whole gamut of global response as a measure of collective global responsibility. In this regard, the emerging response of the world against the intimidating climate change stands as the litmus test to reveal how far the world has learnt from the erstwhile mistakes and its consistent mistreatment of planet earth. However, as a silver lining to ongoing sustainability challenges, never in history have we witnessed the tackling of these so seriously, the way it has been done since the last couple of decades. Although, an evolution of a responsible global society is on its way; however, it loads an equal responsibility upon all of us to follow through a sustainable pathway of development through the best of our capacities and resources.

Today, the economies are paying due homage to the idea of “De-carbonization” and so on we all have to be in step with these trends, particularly at the communities and grass-root levels. Towards these ends, HCRSP fairly bids to facilitate, support, organize, motivate and execute a range of initiatives, campaigns and projects at community levels, which may help to preserve the values of the green economy as well as to ensure its ownership by the society as a whole. In this regard, I have my fullest belief in the team of HCRSP and the target group of audience and communities, who if imparted awareness may prove to be the key stalwarts and agents of change. Never to forget, that the future of planet earth is in our own hands and if the opportunity is lost, we don’t have any other home in the vast expanse of cosmos. While the sustainability is multi-faceted, a comprehensive response in its favor can be generated at the end of variety of sectors of economy, i.e. energy, water, urban innovations, technological advancements, renewable energy, afforestation, agriculture etc. hence there is vast landscape of areas in which we all have considerable margin to put in our individual and collective efforts for the sake of our green planet.
