Introduction

Himalayan Conservation and Rural Support Program (HCRSP) is a nonprofit organization established under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (Now called Companies Act 2017) dedicated to the cause of sustainable development on the lines of United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with its prime focus upon the development and empowerment of thriving rural communities of the breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas. HCRSP is driven by a profound commitment to ensure a sustainable future through undertaking a variety of initiatives in the areas of environment, renewable energy, education, health, social protection and mainstreaming etc.

Our Mission

HCRP strives to:
Conserve: Protect the fragile ecosystems and biodiversity at the National level through innovative conservation programs and community-based initiatives.
Develop: Empower rural communities by providing access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and infrastructure, fostering self-reliance and improving the quality of life.
Transform: Undertaking a broad based change management process at the grass root levels that may transform the communities into organized and responsible social groups, who may respond to ecological, social and economic challenges around them as well as advocate the policies, focusing upon a comprehensive well-being and human prosperity.
